By "The Healthy Plumber" Kennith Walter, Fd. Generally speaking water has become one of the most valuable natural resources in recent years. Dwindling supplies of fresh pure water have been increasingly disappearing, with little or no answers to solve an ever growing problem. Municipalities vie for fresh supplies while literally re-incarnating toilet water or sewage. Though the commercial water filtration industry will have you believe that water that has gone through typical reclamation is perfectly fine to drink, it is sadly not. Even though the water that comes from the tap is clean and pure to the look, surface and reclaimed toilet water is loaded full of Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products as Pollutants (PPCPs)1, and Endocrine Disrupting Compounds (EDCs)2. Conventional municipal water treatment is incapable of removing these health damaging hazardous chemicals. Even on rural water or private well water, numerous chemicals are still showing up in test. To add insult to injury treatment facilities add chlorine ( for microbial purification), hydrofluorosilicic acid and hydroflouric acid from ground waste (sodium fluoride is said to protect against cavities- yeah right, which also contains arsenic -CDC admits yes, 3, 4, 5, was also sold as rat poison until 1972), sodium hydroxide (lye, to adjust the pH) and aluminum (for the precipitation of suspended particles). So how healthy is your water? Do you drink tap or bottled water? The solution arises within one's own mind. When you begin to understand that beyond physical chemistry and "Flat Earth -reductionist science", that all things have a living property to them. Water is the basis of all organic life. If you look at water as a mix of elements bonded together, whether ionic or covalent, you have the foundation to see what it is made from. However beyond the "physical" is the energetic properties not found by standard chemical analysis. So what are the "properties"? It has been known for thousands of years that certain spring waters (hot and cold) have a healing, regenerative property, many people experience this when they soak in natural mineral baths or drink the water. Although the minerals are a component to the healing, as ionically (that is "electron -ically") they begin to re-mineralize the body. Beyond that is when we begin to see the energetic (true life) component measured using millivolt (mV) sensitive equipment to detect an "Oxidative Reduction Potential" or ORP. ORP is the ability to either rob electrons (oxidize/rust) or contribute electrons (reduce/rebuild). This ability to contribute electrons is the ability to regenerate organic matter and transmute inorganic compounds into non-toxic substances commonly know as elements. Yes that's right, complex molecules become ionic elements. Reduced water is an anti-oxidant detectable by the presence of a negative millivolt potential. Oxidative (bad) properties are detectable by a positive millivolt potential. Regular tap water has a positive reading of above +450 mV, purified bottle water between +200 to +350 mV, while healing water, (and pure fresh vegetable juices) have a negative reading beginning at -1 mV extending as high as -1200 mV. Now ask yourself-would you want this water to come from your regular household tap? I certainly would say YES, but how? Answer; an ionizing, alkalizing water generator, the Enagic SD501. This little counter top device is one of the worlds most powerful water generators available. After months of research and thousands of dollars spent there has been a definitive conclusion to the quality and ability for this water generator to function. It is a leader in the industry by technology and design. It is one of the first companies in the world to produce a home unit. Now standing with a 33 year track record. Kangen (return to original in Japanese) is the waters' common name. And by definition that is exactly what is does, returns you to original. We are 75% water, not vitamins, not expensive juices not herbal tonics, but water. When you drink one glass of this water it is the equivalent of eating a fist full of very expensive supplements (not all supplements are created equally). The way the water works by definition is referred to as "ionized- alkalized" water. There has been much flack from reductionist science to prove what this water is and it can be tested very quickly with a device called and OPR meter. You just simply choose your water sample immerse the probe and viola it will give you a reading in millivolts as a potential. If it is on the positive side of the scale it is an oxidizing solution, however if it is on the negative side of the scale it is a reducer or anti-oxidant. For the pH some simple test strips or drops will do the trick, but for very accurate readings you actually need a test gauge. Now you might be thinking is alkalized water good for you? And the quick response is, if you live in a stress filled environment, and eat any type of flesh protein or processed foods then...Yes! Otto Warburg won a Nobel prize in 1930 for proving diseases do not exist in an alkaline environment. More recently it has been proven in-vitro that simply by adjusting pH toward acid, helping organelle "transmute" or morph into destructive viruses, adjust the pH back to alkaline and it becomes the helper organelle again. This is ground breaking information. Almost all diseases can be related back to lifestyle and acid environment. It has been shown that almost all tumors when cultured show candida albicans, which is a negative yeast that proliferates in an acid environment When the body is made up of 75% water and the average person only drinking 750 mL per day it is no wonder the multitude of disease is on the rise, 6, not to mention the horrific amount of chemicals found in most ground and tap waters. To add insult to injury most so-called "purified" water (R.O. - even re-mineralized, distilled) is on the acid side of the pH scale causing further damage to the body when ingested. If the water you drink is not pH and energetically adjusted it simply drains minerals and nutrients from your body adding to the further acidification and eventual disease formation. Who would ever desire negative results from water ingestion? Enagic has produced the highest quality water ionizes on the market today. Do not be fooled by price! For when we pay to little for something it may not be a bargain as you use it over the days and months and years. If you could produce all of the drinking, cooking and cleaning waters for your family for about $1.50 per day would it be worth it? It is rare that you may find a more powerful health generating substance. It is impossible to buy super-foods, supplementation or commercial drugs for that price to continually generate a level of health that rivals any health program. It is why this machine is used in Hospitals in Japan as it just simply works to restore you to original. The Japanese focus on health, in the West we focus on disease.
