Self
Growth
This web
site was created 10 years ago by founder David Riklan. David wanted to
create a site that promoted self growth with
methods that would apply with everyone. He found that each person had their
own comfort zone in personal growth and learning.
Today he does speaking engagements, seminars, has written books, and
teaches.

Business Start Up Steps
1. Find
out what the regulations are for businesses in your town and city.
Home based businesses may have different regulations and
procedures than
office/industrial based businesses. Business license and additional
property insurance
may be required.
2. Type
of Business to register as: (do your research)
Corporation: Shareholders and stocks
Limited Company:
Sole Proprietorship: easiest to start up and register
3.
Business name:
- A numbered Company
- A company with a special name: choose 3 – 4 names that you
really like
(one may have been used and registered already).
4.
Register the business and name:
-At your nearest registry office (Motor Vehicle Branch)

9.
Advertising:
- Some people can go by word of mouth and the advertising is not
necessary.
- Options as: newspapers, industry related magazines,
directories, brouchers and business cards, web pages.
Note: I
have set up my own web pages and maintain the sites. I spend less about
$100.00 per year or less
for the
hosting of the sites. I do my own web page updates and have fun doing it.
