What is Energy …
“All
matter is energy” (Albert Einstein).
Energy is our life force. It animates
us, creating movement and vitality. When
working with our energies we can boost our vitality and stamina, strengthen
our
immune system and keep ourselves healthier, happier and more balanced.
Energy Healing involves compassionate energy therapy which is used to clear,
and
balance our 'whole person': mind, body
and spirit.

and integrative care, that can be used in
conjunction with traditional therapies
or as an alternative therapy.

Children's Class
Student Energy Primer (ages 9-12, 1.5
hours)
Often children have a natural awareness
of energy and its healing potential. They become empowered
when they understand how to use healing
energy for their own self-care and comfort. This class offers
basic energy concepts in a simple and
enjoyable format. During the class children will get in touch
with the subtle energy in their bodies
through observing and doing.
$15.00/child, adults free when
accompanying their child

New Class
The first class
discusses general self-care, energy (start with what kids know) and then
moves into discussing the aura/electro-magnetic field. I show some
Kirlian pictures we do a short meditation and then start working in our
own field. I demonstrate 3 different pain relief techniques. We then
move into doing some techniques to help with learning stuff in school.
The second class builds on this one. We partner up and work with other
energy fields, very respectfully and hands off all the way. We discuss
the etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual layers of the
electromagnetic fields and at the same time discuss self-care techniques
for each particular field.

Adult Classes
Class 1: Energy Balance Presentation (2
hours)
Elke will present information about the
auric field and chakras as well as subtle-energy healing. Participants
will discover how energy healing can be
used to support and strengthen their mind-body-spirit
connection and how to use these methods
to lead to greater emotional balance, physical well-being and
awareness of their spiritual nature.
Participants will be introduced to subtle-energy self-care.
$35.00/person (minimum 4 people)
Class 2: Self-Care Mini-workshop (2
hours)
Elke will begin the class with a
demonstration of a 5- minute energy routine adapted from Donna Eden, an
internationally renowned healer. Energy
clearing techniques will also be presented which help to relieve
stress, reduce pain, boost the immune
system and increase overall wellness. These energy therapies focus
on removing energy congestion from the
body's meridians and chakras. The meridians carry energy to
every part of our body and the chakras
are the body's energy centers. Participants will learn how to
re-establish healthy energy flow
through opening and balancing the human energy system.
$35.00/person (minimum 4 people)
$60.00/person for both classes
Classes can be customized to deal with
specific issues.
Instructor
Elke Nowicki has taught high school
biology and chemistry to adolescents and adults for eleven
years and is presently a Healing Touch
Practitioner and Instructor with the Healing Touch
Program* . Elke practices Healing Touch
in the pastoral care venue and has a private practice
based in her home. Elke has taught
several introductory energy healing classes with adults
(including seniors), as well as with
grades 4 through 6 students. Elke believes in the
importance of self-empowerment and
self-care and loves demonstrating energy healing methods that
can help to attain these goals.
